In 2016 the Wodonga Bulldogs Football Club celebrated 80 years in the Ovens & Murray League. In that time we have won seven premierships and produced eight Morris Medalists.
We boast a long list of brilliant footballers and in 2017 we will continue our philosophy of developing a squad of home grown and hand-picked talent from outside the Ovens & Murray League. In 2017 there are four of our young gun players playing at AFL level and in 2015 five out of seven football and netball teams played in Ovens & Murray finals. We must be doing something right!
Our Netball teams have an outstanding record of performance in the Ovens & Murray having won 3 netball premierships. Our home-grown netballers include players who consistently play at an international and state level and are a force to be reckoned with.
In 2017 the talent in our current senior squad will be complemented by recruits who we believe will contribute not only to our game but to the club’s history. Our upcoming junior players will be complemented by recruits that we believe will display the same courage and determination that has been demanded of our home-grown talent.
We have very loyal supporters and members and we welcome new members to the Club.
The Club bar is open to the public from 5pm on Thursday and 4pm on Friday nights and the function room is available for private functions.
We are very fortunate to have secured a three year sponsorship with Wodonga Clubhouse Bar & Bistro, Birralee Tavern, Cohen Homes, Murphy’s Salvage and Demolition and WSM. We acknowledge their support and encourage everyone to support the businesses that support our Club.
